Default Informatiom of customer

To enter the default information, first of all you have to select the option of “MAINTAIN” and after that select the option of default information, and there is again a list from which you have to select the option of customer

After that the following window will appear


It is window of customer defaults..in this window you have to fill out the certain things about your customer
.Payment Terms
.Accounts Aging
.Custom Fields
.Finance Charges
.Pay Methods
First of all we discuss about the “PAYMENT TERMS”..in this option you have to fill out the following things
C.O.D (cash on delivery)..if you select this option, it means you will receive cash from this customer on delivery..Then you will have to set only the credit limit..
Second option prepaid

Second option is the “PREPAID” if you select this option,it means you will receive the payment in advance..in this option you will also set the credit limit..
Next option “DUE IN NUMBER OF DAYS”

In this option you will have to selct the due days number and the number of days in which discount will given and also the percentage of discount and credit limit..
Next option “DUE ON DAY OF NEXT MONTH”

In this option you will have to select the date of next month when the payment becomes due..
Next option “DUE AT END OF MONTH”

If you select this option it means the payment becomes due at end of month ,in this option there is no need of any date..
It is your choice which option will you choose..after choosing any option you will have to choose the general ledger sales account code and also the discount general ledger account..weather you choose the discount option or not but you have to give the id of discount general ledger account otherwise the process will not be completed..
Account Aging
Now click on the option of account aging the following window will appear
In this window there are two options of age invoices by

. invoice date
.Due date
After giving that information click on the next tab like below..

In this tab you have fields available and you can enter extra information about customer or vendor as you want..you can enable or disable an field,these fields are shown in customers custom fields tab,After that click on the next tab like below

In this finanace charges tab fill out certain fields as per your requirments like days overdue uptoamount,annual interest rate,balance above that,minimum finance charges..and you also have to select the GL account for finance charge..after filling all the fields move on to the next tab the following screen you will see..

This tab is about the pay methods..you have to writ the methods of the payment and also assign deposit ticket IDs..after that click on “OK” to save the settings..
