Lahore Lions Qualifies for Group stage in CLT20 2014




A Lahore lion is the Pakistan’s Franchise cricket team representing the city Lahore and it is one of the 19 domestic teams. Lahore Lions became the first team from Pakistan to qualify for the group stages of the champions league T20.



Lahore Lions defeated the southern Express by the margin of 55 runs in a do or die match of the qualifying stage today. Still after the victory Lahore lions were relying for NK (Northern Knights) victory against the Mumbai Indians in the last qualifier match of the day. Because Mumbai Indians were on second position due to their higher net run rate. Northern Knights have keep their undefeated record in champions league T20 and qualified for the group stage along with the Lahore Lions. Northern Knights did not even lost a single match in champion league T20. Lahore Lions have won 2 matches out of their 3 matches while Mumbai Indians won only 1 match and Southern Express lost all their matches. Lahore Lions defeated Southern Express and Mumbai Indians comfortably and their only loss came against Northern Knights.
The biggest strength of Lahore Lions is their bowling attack. They have attacking fast bowlers and quality spinners as well. Wahab Riaz and Aizaz Cheema both are capable of firing in Yorkers at the death overs. Adnan Rasool is also doing a fantastic job. Lahore Lions batting is heavily dependent on the top order batsmen because other youngsters have very less international experience and it will be difficult for them to play against high profile team in front of large crowds. But the all the players are talented enough to beat any team in any situation. Lahore Lions are also placed in a very competitive and strong group that contains Kolkata Knight Riders, Chennai Super Kings, Dolphins and Perth Scorchers.


Lahore Lions became the first Pakistani domestic team who qualifies for the main round in champions League T20.
The first match of Lahore Lions in the group stages is with Kolkata Knight Riders at 8:00pm IST (6:30pm GST, 2:30pm GMT), Sunday 21st September 2014 in Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad. So Good Luck to Lahore Lions for their upcoming matches in Champions League T20 2014. Hope they do well and qualifies for the Semi finals.

The Most Expensive Luxury Car of The World!

The current most expensive car in the world is the Rolls-Royce Arcadia Droptail, which costs around $31 million .
