Motorola Nexus 6

After the great Nexus 5, Android is set to launch its trademark Nexus phone sometime in November. Nexus 6 is said to be the successor of both Nexus 5 and Moto X. The smartphone manufacturer is Motorola this time. As everyone can see the pattern; First two devices by HTC, next two by Samsung, further two by LG and now it's Motorola's turn to show what they've got. I personally think that Motorola will do a fine job, as it's now under Google.
Rumours are in favour of a larger display (5.2 inches) and a much much larger resolution of 2560x1440, which makes a pixel density of 565ppi. Not only screen size and resolution is being improved but the camera is going on a new level. The rear camera is expected to be of 13 MP, whereas front facing camera won't be more than 2MP. The back camera would have the ability to capture videos at 4K Ultra HD! There are also rumours that Nexus 6 can feature a finger print scanner too. The smartphone will reportedly be integrated by a Snapdragon 805 chipset, a 2.7 GHz Krait quad-core processor and a 3GB RAM.  With great power comes great responsibility! Yes, Nexus 6 will be plugged in with a 3200 MAh battery to deal with more battery consuming screen, camera and processors.
More and more people are getting attracted to the Nexus devices now a days.
Some of the reasons why Nexus devices beat others:
  • Reasonable price
Phones that feature a 4K video recording cameras are normally expensive, but the Nexus 6 is set to release at a much lesser price. Nexus does not compromise on build quality or a good chipset, but still manages to keep the price in reach of most of the people.
  • First One to get the Updates and Worldwide Updates
Nexus devices are queued in the front row of Android updates and the reason why I personally love the Nexus smartphones is because of their worldwide updates. Whether you're in Pakistan or Australia, everybody will get the update at the same time. Phones like HTC, Samsung are quite irresponsible when it comes to region updates. My friend's HTC One X is still stuck on ice cream sandwich, because he never got an update!!

The only Nexus 6 competitor is going to be the OnePlus One, both are great devices for a true android lover. Both have remarkable specifications in a reasonable price and most probably will allow the user to fully customize their respective device.
