Football Transfer News [DONE DEALS]

It’s been an outstanding transfer window for football. In this post I'm going to mention the top ten most anticipated transfers of this transfer window.
10) Hatem Ben Arfa

After a long time at Newcastle United the star has been transferred to the English football club, Hull City F.C. The French star managed to score 3 goals and deliver 6 assists while the 13/14 Premier League season for Newcastle United. Ben Arfa has a total of 76 appearances for the club and have scored 13 times for the English club. Hull City F.C. does not have a full ownership as the French star is transferred on loan, and will be back at Newcastle United after some time.

 9) Tom Cleverley

The Manchester United youngster is set to move to Aston Villa on loan. Cleverley has been transferred on loan many times before to clubs; Leicester City, Watford and Wigan Athletic respectively. The England international has made a total of 54 appearances for the club and was able to score thrice. Aston Villa can fully benefit from this transfer as the youngster is full of potential.

8) Mario Balotelli

The Italian international has joined Liverpool at a £20 Million deal from AC Milan. He was not performing well in the Italian club and Rossoneri wanted him replaced anyway (by Fernando Torres). Balotelli has played for Manchester City before, so he wouldn't take long to settle at an English club hence Brendon Rodgers (Liverpool Manager) made the move. The Italian international has scored 88 goals in his 224 career appearances. After signing for Liverpool he thinks he has find the perfect club and looks forward to scoring more and more goals. His annual income for the year 2014, is reportedly 6 Million Euros.

7) Robert Lewandowski

The Polish star who shined for Borussia Dortmund with 74 goals in 131 appearances has moved to F.C. Bayern Munich on a free transfer. His career total is of 166 goals in 306 appearances. His international side just won a European Championship Qualifier. Lewandowski contributed his side with 4 goals, which made the final score line of the match: 7-0. This qualifying match shows the form and class of the Polish international and confirms that he is a big threats to the Bundesliga opponents. His current salary for the year 2014 is reportedly 9 Million Euros. Bayern Munich are now set to compete at a whole new level with this transfer, as they were looking for a permanent striker after the departure of Mario Gomez and Mandzukic.

 6) Diego Costa

The Athletico Madrid star has joined the blues (Chelsea) for a £44 Million deal, with a 7.8 Million GB Pounds as his annual salary. The blues were in a hunt for their dream forward and they hopefully have found it as Costa scores 7 goals in the first 4 Premier League matches and his first hatrick for Chelsea and the very first in the Premier League this season. By the performance so far, Costa looks unstoppable, and Cesc Fabregas… his partner in crime never forgets to assist him in a match. So far, Chelsea has scored a total of 15 goals in the league from which 7 are scored by Costa. How tremendous is that?

 5) Radamel Falcao

The former AS Monaco star is ready to join the Red Devils (Manchester United) on loan at £6 million but Manchester United still has the opportunity to buy the full ownership of the star by paying off £43.5 Million once the medical examination is completed. The Colombian International managed to score 11 goals in 20 appearances for AS Monaco in one year. Falcao has scored a total of 139 goals in 237 appearances for his previous clubs. Falcao’s reported income for the year 2015 is 15.6 Great Britain Pounds.

4) Angel Di Maria

After winning the Super Cup and the biggest trophy of them all UEFA Champions’ League, the Argentinian International has flew to Old Trafford (Manchester United) on a £59.7 Million deal which sets the record of the most expensive transfer in the British history. Di Maria was able to score 22 goals with Real Madrid in 124 appearances. Di Maria was also able contribute to his international side Argentina in the world cup, who unfortunately lost in the final minutes of the match, which led Germany to lift the World Cup trophy. Manchester United needed a good midfield-winger and I hope this transfer has filled that vacant spot.

3) Luis Suarez

The top Premier League goal scorer last year with 31 goals, the Uruguayan International has joined one of the top Spanish side, Barcelona F.C. The deal is certainly not on loan, this is full ownership we’re talking about! Yes, the Catalans have bought Suarez for €88 Million. Luis Suarez have scored 220 goals in his past 363 appearances. Luis Suarez has also been involved in a couple of controversial incidents that involves the famous biting of Chiellini, Ivanovic and Ottman Bakkal. He also racially abused Juventus newcomer, Patrice Evra and made some uncomfortable gestures toward the Fulham F.C. supporters. Knowing all of his history and controversies, Barcelona still signed him because of his remarkable performance and undoubted talent for the past couple of years.

2) Mario Mandzukic

The 2013 UEFA Champions League Champions Bayern Munich have sold their forward, Mandzukic to the La Liga champions of 13/14 Athletico Madrid. Athletico Madrid always find one of the best strikers for their side each year. First it was Fernando Torres then Radamel Falcao then David Villa and then Diego Costa. Bayern Munich took 22 Million for the deal of the Croat. It’s not even been a few months and Mandzukic lead his side to victory against Real Madrid in the 2014 Supercopa de España. Mario Mandzukic scored a total of 141 goals in his past 321 appearances.

1) James Rodriguez

After winning the World Cup golden boot, the Colombian International was most wanted and it was Real Madrid, who won the race of signing the young star. The price paid for the 23 year old player is huge, 80 Million. That makes him one of the most expensive players of the transfer window. In the previous 229 appearances he scored 62 goals. If the Colombian international continues shining like in the World Cup, the price paid by the Spanish side would totally be worth it.
