BMW i8 2015 : Hybrid Eco-Friendly Sports Car



BMW i8 also known, as BMW Concept Vision Efficient Dynamics is a plug in hybrid sports car developed by BMW.it is the first eco-friendly super car of the 21st centaury. BMW i8 is extremely fast despite having three cylinders not eight or twelve as it can go from 0-100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h. This super car has a fuel efficiency of 2.1 L/100 km under the NEDC  (New European Driving Cycle) test with carbon emissions of 49 g/km.

The 2015 model year BMW i8 has a 7.1 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that delivers an all-electric range of 23 miles (37 km) under the NEDC. The body of BMW i8 is all carbon fiber, the fibers coming from BMW’s own hydro powered factory. This magnificent car also won the extreme tech Editors choice award as the best of the new breed of Super cars.
The inside of the BMW i8 takes its cue from the fluid, dynamic exterior with a reprise of the layered surfaces that underpin the unique style of this car. Every feature in the cockpit is systematically focused on the driver, allowing total immersion in the intensely rewarding experience behind the wheel. The fully digital, three- dimensional Control Display, for example, presents everything the driver needs to know – such as speed, range, charge status and route – in high-resolution clarity. At the same time, ConnectedDrive Services ensure flawless connectivity with the outside world at all times.




The BMW i8 features IconnectedDrive services that are easy to control from your smartphone. With the help of BMW iRemote App-available for IOS and Android- you can easily search for your cars electric-only range and local charging stations whenever you like. You can also even check if the doors and windows are closed through this great App. Additionally, you can use remote control to air-condition the interior before a drive, you can also send the addresses from your smartphone into the navigation system of your BMW i8 with the help of this great application.

The Most Expensive Luxury Car of The World!

The current most expensive car in the world is the Rolls-Royce Arcadia Droptail, which costs around $31 million . This bespoke luxury vehicle is designed for some billionaires in Singapore, with various exclusive details that boggle the mind. The Arcadia Droptail uses a rear decklid of Santos Straight Grain wood, for which 223 pieces of wood go into the whole design. Inside is a highly complex clock with geometric guilloché patterning developed over two years and requiring five months to be produced. The car is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.6-liter V12 engine to the tune of 593 horsepower and 620 pound-feet of torque​. The car beats the previous record holder, a Rolls-Royce Boat Tail, for which one customer paid $29 million.
